the Dumbest Reason from Facebook to Remove 20 Years Old Account

On December 26, 2024, I was visiting my village. I reached there 2 days ago and didn’t use Facebook. On the morning 26th, I tried to login to my account but faced a peculiar reason. I cannot write word by word but it was saying that, “My account is blocked because this account is linked with an Instagram account which didn’t follow the Facebook guideline.” And out of generosity, Facebook gave me 180 days to appeal. So nice of you FB.

So, I was thinking, my Insta account should be in trouble which I don’t use much. But why FB account? I was totally puzzled. But couldn’t dig more as I was out station.

After returning home, I looked deeper. Guess what I find out? FB mentioned an Instagram account which is not exists. I was like “SERIOUSLY!”. And deep inside my mind I was, “WTF Facebook!!”.

So, long story short, I tried to appeal. But couldn’t due to non existent Instagram account. My actual Insta account works perfect till date. But after 180 days, my fb account gone. And its gone for good. That was the only portal for me to get updates from all my friends all over the world. But Fb cuts out my server cost.

Good luck Fb. I wish you grow large and grow some logical common sense not nonsense. May be this is one reason Fb investing more in AI. Just a wild guess. Thanks for reading.
